Ko te kaupapa | About the role
The Manager Monitoring and Evaluation will be responsible for developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation work programme that meets the strategic and operational needs of Te Hiringa Hauora, including:
· oversight of the Outcomes Framework and supporting Monitoring and Evaluation Plan, including:
- implementing and reporting on monitoring systems for our core work programmes
- developing and implementing a strategic and operational programme of evaluation
· increasing evaluative thinking capability across the wider Insights and Evaluation team, as well as the wider organisation
· designing and implementing a survey monitor programme and oversight of the data analytics function
· ensure that monitoring and evaluation projects draw on matāuranga Māori, Te Ao Pasifika and western science knowledge systems, within the he awa whiria/braided rivers framework.
Reporting to our General Manager Insights and Evaluation, this key management role demonstrates thought leadership, agility, along with strategic and future focused thinking.

You will be experienced Manager or aspiring Senior or Principal Researcher looking to extend your career, with a relevant post-graduate qualification. We would encourage applicants to apply who have a background in public health research, preferably with a good understanding of Te Ao Māori and/or Te Ao Pasifika.
Our mahi is varied and carried out with passion for the health and wellbeing of ngā tangata o Aotearoa. We are looking for someone who shares this unrelenting pursuit of wellbeing and has the skills, experience and motivation to lead our Insights team.
