About the role
Our Community Physiotherapists work across the Hutt Valley seeing people with a variety of conditions including those who would benefit from an In Home Strength and Balance programme.
You will be seeing people requiring input only from yourself along with others who have a broader range of needs. You’ll have a number of Physiotherapist colleagues as well as the skills of an extensive team of Allied Health Professions, Assistants, Registered Nurses and Doctors to draw upon.
The team will be implementing new models including closer working with Primary Health and innovations designed to best utilise the abilities of our skilled workforce. This will include moving towards more inter-professional practice approaches so we are looking for therapists keen to cross skill and make the best use of what will be a growing assistant workforce.
Experienced clinicians form a core component of our Community team and are crucial to maintaining a supportive, enthusiastic and professional environment within the team. There would be the expectation of involvement in quality improvement work, both at a team and wider service level.
