The Marketing Manager manages strategic marketing campaigns and work associated with our flagship health promotion programmes and research areas including alcohol harm, tobacco control, gambling harm, whanau wellbeing, and mental wellbeing. The Marketing Manager also supports the Communications Manager and team to develop PR approaches and activities across the same areas.
You will manage a team working on national behaviour change campaigns that prioritise iwi, Māori and Pacific communities, and where applicable using kaupapa Māori marketing approaches. We champion communities who experience the greatest health challenges and inequities to make sure the marketing we deliver is evidence-based and has their needs at the heart of it. Our health promotion approach extends to influencing change across policy and legislative environments and from time to time may require marketing expertise.
We work on brands and programmes like Smokefree, QuitStrong, Say Yeah, Nah, Minimising Gambling Harm, Nutrition and Physical Activity and Mental Wellbeing, including the National Depression Initiative and Like Minds, Like Mine
Te Hiringa Hauora prides itself on providing flexible working options to our staff where possible. We do our best to work with staff to offer opportunities to make things work for them, and for us.
