Oranga Tamariki is a Ministry with a powerful mandate to make a difference to the lives of New Zealand's tamariki, rangatahi and whānau and it is a pivotal time to be part of our team. We are looking for diverse experienced and capable people who are driven to make a difference.
Working in close alignment with the Strategic Partnering and HR Operation functions, the OD team develops initiatives designed to lift capability, drive engagement, and inspire performance across the wider organisation.
About the role - Mō te tūnga
We want to hear from candidates who have high energy and focus to build trusted relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders plus for the senior role deep OD expertise in design, co-design and facilitation to translate complex issues into user friendly deliverables; both roles need to demonstrate excellent judgement and planning skills and the tenacity to drive change and improvement in a complex environment.
What you will bring - Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
It would be advantageous to have demonstrable skill and experience in the application of Māori centric approaches in previous roles. This will be coupled with recent, strong experience in the design, development and delivery of complex OD initiatives and driving the adoption of these initiatives across diverse groups. For the senior OD role, you may also have proven facilitation and coaching skills and able to engage credibly with a wide range of stakeholder groups to drive outcomes.
