Ko te kaupapa | About the role
We are looking for an energetic, passionate person to contribute to our work in developing and delivering health promotion programmes at Te Hiringa Hauora/Health Promotion Agency. This role has a focus on tobacco control and sits within this team, but has the opportunity to work on other programmes we are involved with. We will consider both Advisor and Senior Advisor applicants.
The role requires someone who is adaptable and thrives in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment. Our ideal candidate is a team player who is strong on stakeholder engagement, project management, and delivering results. You will be able to think creatively, work under pressure, and prioritise your work. You will bring an understanding, or desire to understand Tikanga Māori to ensure that we are able to engage respectfully with our audiences. This is an exciting opportunity for a resourceful, enterprising person to manage the development of a range of exciting projects and make a difference to the wellbeing of New Zealanders, with a focus on Māori and Pasifika.
