National Project Manager – Building and Compliance

The Te Kohanga Reo National Trust owns more than 400 facilities across Aotearoa, and we are looking for a National Project Manager to spearhead the renewals and improvements of Kohanga Reo buildings. From small to large buildings, you will take care of replacement and improvements of our buildings. 

Leading a team of Property Kaimahi, you’ll work collaboratively with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes are met. Driving and delivering a positive Health and Safety culture will be an essential part of the programme delivery. Thriving on a challenge, you’ll tackle and deliver varied and complex work across the different assets. 

As our ideal candidate, you will be an experienced, hardworking and motivated leader, capable of managing a programme of diverse projects; from major to minor, you’ll oversee it all. You will be an expert in project and programme management methodologies and have a solid understanding of procurement processes, contract and risk management. 

In addition, you’ll have an open and positive mindset, and be an excellent communicator, interacting eloquently with a variety of stakeholders including contractors, colleagues, Kohanga whanau, and senior leadership. 

We are looking to appoint the salary of the successful candidate at approximately $125,000 per annum, however this could be negotiated for the right candidate. Applications close Sunday 29 November 2020.
