Insightful performance measurement and accurate reporting are vital to ensuring that Te Arawhiti delivers on its potential and lives up to its ambitious aspirations. The Senior Advisor, Reporting is the organisation’s expert on reporting and performance measurement. In this role you will strategically oversee the agency’s reporting process to ensure all external and internal reporting obligations are met. You will work with senior leaders to translate their achievements into easily understandable performance stories. Working with kāhui and hāpai, you will ensure that performance measure are aligned to the agency’s goals and objectives, and are fit for purpose to support business decision making, and driving desired behaviours.

To be successful in this role you will be able to understand and interpret complex documents, including legislation. You will be able to view issues at a strategic level and have experience managing and preparing performance reports for senior leaders and Ministers. A sound level of business acumen will be valued, as will a knowledge of the Treaty settlement process and Māori Crown engagement, though this is not essential.
