The Senior Advisor, Project Management will be Te Arawhiti’s expert on project management. In this role you will ensure that Te Arawhiti has a robust project management methodology, with the necessary tools and techniques to support managers and their kāhui to deliver projects and achieve key outcomes. 

You will provide coaching, advice and guidance on project management, including developing ways to standardise project management practices across the organisation. You will also monitor and provide reports to the Executive and Leadership team on the progress of key projects.  You will ensure all projects are aligned with the goals and priorities of Te Arawhiti.

The right person for this role will have demonstrated a knowledge and practical application of project and programme management, with an ability to promote and engage people in project management methodologies. 

Experience in writing project management plans in both small and large projects will be valued. You will also have an ability to monitor projects and provide advice to senior leaders. You must be able to cope with change, and to pivot and act without having the complete picture in front of you. This role will suit someone with a drive and determination to meet deadlines and complete objectives, who is also able to understand that different situations may require different skills and approaches.
