The Director is looking for an experienced and capable individual to help prioritise and manage the delivery of this work between the Animal Health and Exports group and Animal Welfare group as well as and other parts of MPI.

Live animal exports is a dynamic area undergoing significant change which will generate a substantial work programme following two significant reviews which will need to be scoped, developed and operationalised.

Your principal responsibilities will be working closely with the Director and AH&W LT to develop and coordinate an ongoing work programme.

This is a six month fixed term contract based in Wellington, the remuneration for this role will be paid commensurate to the experience of the successful candidate, and the salary range is from $128K to $173K with a mid-point at $150K.

The Director is looking for an experienced and capable individual to help prioritise and manage the delivery of this work between the Animal Health and Exports group and Animal Welfare group as well as and other parts of MPI. You'll need excellent project skills, be very comfortable in fluid high pressure environments and be able to operationalise and implement solutions quickly.
