About the role

Oranga Tamariki - Ministry for Children currently have an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Advisor to join our Services for Children and Families team based at National Office, Wellington.

In this role, you will provide a range of support and will be working in partnership with the Business Manager Operations to deliver advice and co-ordination to the Business Implementation and Support team. You will be responsible for working across multiple projects ensuring implementation is coordinated, planned and delivered successfully to our frontline staff.

Sitting in the Services for Children and Families team, this role calls for someone who is passionate about building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be a great communicator with a knack for about getting the right information to the right people in the right ways at the right time. You will thrive in a fluid and fast paced environment and bring a can-do attitude and an uncanny ability to get things done.

This is a varied role and will see you putting your hand to a wide range of tasks including; administration, coordination, providing implementation advice and ensuring risk, action plans and deliverables are documented. You will also be required to create presentations for our leadership team and build meaningful relationships across the organisation.

Skills and experience

As an experienced project/programme coordinator or implementation advisor you will bring your outstanding organisation and advisory skills to this role. You will have a logical and task orientated working style and will bring high energy and enthusiasm to the team. Playing a key role to our implementation and operational activity, you will be working with a range of staff and managers across the organisation, therefore your outstating relationship management and communication skills will be put to good use in this role.
