Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) provides public health services to people living throughout Te Tau Ihu, the Nelson and Marlborough district. You will be joining a great public health team and be based at our Richmond premises. You will be part of a small Analyst team supporting the wider public health team.
The Analyst Team delivers analytical support for the range of health protection, health promotion, public health nursing and public health medicine functions. At present there is a focus on building the COVID-19 response capacity for case investigation, contact tracing and follow-up. This is alongside the current commitments to NCD prevention, Health in All Policies, health equity and Hauora Maori and an environmentally sustainable health system.

You will have a tertiary qualification in public health or a related field and critical to the role will be your ability to work in a changing environment, manage process, deliver on tight timeframes, be flexible with work activities, and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
