The Opportunity

This is a fixed term opportunity for one year and will be based on client site in Turangi. 

In this role, you will work with Trust shareholders, Trustees, our Client Managers and the Share Registry team, to provide administrative support for the large number of Maori Land Trusts and their stakeholders. 

Your duties include engaging with our clients via phone / email / in person, maintaining the shareholder database, processing succession orders from the Maori Land Court, ensuring accurate and timely records are kept, processing grant requests and shareholder payments as well as providing support for AGMs. In this role you will also be responsible for reception duties, room bookings and coordination. 

You will play an integral part in maintaining our strong client relationships which will fit with your natural outgoing personality and willingness to help.

About you - you will have

  • Knowledge and understanding of Tikanga Maori
  • Strong communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Maori Land Trust administration would be advantageous
  • Research and database management experience 
  • Excellent skills across the MS office suite
  • Initiative, ability to manage competing priorities and strong attention to detail are essential attributes for success in this role
