Investment Facilitators / Kaihuawaere Haumitanga (2)
Closing Date : 28 Feb 2020
Te Mātāwai is looking for two Investment Facilitators to join the Te Mātāuru roopu (Investments) as part of our growing Wellington-based team. Te Mātāuru is one of three core roles that Te Mātāwai leads in response to the need for te reo Māori revitalisation.
If you share our vision that te reo Māori is restored as a nurturing first language this could be the kaupapa for you.
We are looking for people who share our belief that communities and their people are at the centre of everything we do. We have faith that our people know what is needed to help revitalise te reo Māori in their own whānau, hapū, iwi and wider community.
As a valued member of the Te Mātāwai team, you will support the Investment Manager and eight Pae Motuhake chairs who represent their respective Kāhui across the motu.
You will understand the importance of investment in te reo revitalisation and have great organisational and relationship skills. You’ll thrive in a small team environment, supporting and facilitating the decision-making of our Pae Motuhake (regional cluster panels) as they assess investment applications that support the Te Mātāwai vision and investment plans.
To join the Te Mātāwai whānau you should have an understanding of tikanga Māori and either be a te reo Māori speaker or able to demonstrate a commitment to learn.
