Our Manaaki Whānau works alongside individuals and whānau to provide holistic care, support and guidance for whānau at Hutt Hospital. You will also be a link to support services that are whānau focused and provide appropriate care for individuals and whānau in the Hutt Valley community.
The key to your success will be your ability to navigate systems and liaise closely with whānau and other members of the wider team to support the holistic care of whānau in Hutt Hospital.
Your previous track record in working with whānau Māori, working collaboratively across the hospital and wider community, grounding in Te Ao Māori, and clear communication will set you up for success in this full-time role.
Hutt Valley DHB covers the Te Awakairangi area - the Hutt Valley— and serves over 146,000 people. Our District Health Board covers both Upper Hutt City and Hutt City. We are a 270 bed hospital and we provide most secondary services, as well as being the tertiary centre for regional plastic, maxillofacial and burns services, the regional rheumatology and school dental services and the greater Wellington public health and breast screening services.
