ABOUT THE ROLE

The Strategy, Planning and Outcomes Group are a small but highly motivated team within the Hutt Valley District Health Board responsible for the commissioning of health services within the district, including planning for improving health outcomes for our population. We are looking for someone to join the team in a service planning and integration role and focused on making a real difference to our Maori and Pacifica communities in the Hutt Valley.

The Service Planning and Integration roles work across various portfolios within the Health system. This position is specifically focused on working closely with our Maori and Pacifica communities including overseeing the management of contracts with the relevant NGO providers. This involves working with colleagues within the broader health system to ensure a truly integrated system of care. The role also involves working closely with colleagues at Capital and Coast District Health Board. Experience in the health sector would be ideal but most importantly you will show a proven ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with Maori and Pacifica partners and communities.

  • Lead the design development of services within this portfolio
  • Manager and shape contracts with our NGO providers
  • Manage a range of complex relationships with colleagues across the health system

We are looking for someone with energy who brings a proactive approach to the workplace and a passion to make a difference for some of our most vulnerable people. If you enjoy working within a supportive and positive team environment and enjoy seeing services succeed, then we'd love to hear from you. Clinical experience would be welcomed but not essential.
