The Employee Support Advisor is a unique role combining elements of human resources, advocacy and counselling, with a focus on ensuring SkyCity employees are supported in ways that allow them to contribute fully at work, in their homes, and in their communities. You'll work as part of a close-knit, supportive team.
This role would suit someone with a background in community policing, human resources, mediation, community or advisory services or counselling. You've have a level-headed, mature approach, some life experience, a calm demeanour, excellent listening skills and the ability to problem solve with ease. You'll demonstrate prior experience working with people of different ethnicities and beliefs. An understanding of employment/human rights legislation would be great, but this isn't essential.
