Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency is charged with delivering Whānau Ora across Te Ika a Māui, working with whānau to help achieve their goals and aspirations, creating positive and long lasting change.
We are seeking a Senior ACC Kaiārahi (Navigator) to lead our new ACC contract. You will be working to help whānau achieve better outcomes with ACC. This can be in a number of ways, including providing information and advice, tautoko through enquiry, claim or complaints processes, and by navigating whānau into the right support at ACC or into other Whānau Ora services.
As the Senior Kaiārahi you will be responsible for building relationships of trust and confidence, leading, motivating and supporting a small team. You will have a high level of energy, innovation, self-motivation and enthusiasm, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, show a commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori and be experienced in Kaupapa Māori approaches and have an empathy for own and other cultures.
To be successful in this role you will have a Minimum of 5 years’ experience advocating and/or supporting Whānau to achieve Whānau needs and aspirations, a Social or Community Development qualification and some previous management/supervisory skills are desirable and a full drivers licence is required.
