Are you a proven leader within the mental health sector, who is keen to use your skills and experience to help inspire New Zealanders to lead healthier lives? We are looking for someone to join our mental health team to lead the Like Minds, Like Mine, Whakaitia te Whakawhiu i te Tangata programme.

Can you gain the respect and trust of a wide range of stakeholders from community groups to senior leaders? Do you have experience managing diverse and complex projects? Are you able to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes? Are you confident in interacting with the media?

We’re looking for someone with those skills to join our mental health team to lead the world-leading Like Minds, Like Mine programme. Having prior knowledge or involvement with the Like Minds, Like Mine programme and/or lived experience of mental distress is advantageous.

The Health Promotion Agency/Te Hiringa Hauora (HPA) leads and delivers innovative, high quality and cost effective national health promotion initiatives. HPA is a Crown entity that works with partners including medical professionals, researchers and academics, community groups, public health advocates, and others who are aligned to our goals. Our programme of work covers a broad range of health and wellbeing topics, including mental health, tobacco control, minimising gambling harm and alcohol harm reduction.
