Our mission at PGF Group is Enhancing the mana of individuals, families and communities: to be free from gambling harm. We are looking for a passionate and experienced public health professional to join our team.
Harmful gambling is a significant social issue in New Zealand and at PGF Group we work with communities, district and city councils, gambling providers and policy makers to support the change necessary to reduce gambling harm.
Our work incorporates a holistic approach to minimising the harm caused by gambling.
We are looking for a person who has community development experience with excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. We need someone that enjoys, and is good at, working cross-culturally.
The position requires a tertiary level qualification in health promotion and/or public health.
This is an exciting and challenging position offering both personal development and an opportunity to work with a team of practitioners to make a real difference in communities. You will be working as part of a team, but the role provides plenty of opportunity for initiative and independence.
