Te Kohanga Reo - Ngā Hau e Whā

He kārere tēnei ki ngā iwi, ka tū he tūranga mahi i roto i tō mātou Kōhanga Reo.
Nau mai, tauti mai ki tēnei pito o te ao me hapai i te kaupapa o te Kōhanga Reo I Ngā Hau e Whā.   

KAIAKO VACANCY

A permanent full-time Kaiako position has become available at Te Kōhanga Reo I Ngā Hau e Whā in Waihopai, Murihiku.

If you have Tohu Whakapakari or in progress through your Kete mahi; you love working with mokopuna to grow their te reo Māori and are passionate about te kaupapa o Te Kohanga Reo, then we would love to hear from you!

We are an intimately sized kōhanga of up to 20 mokopuna committed to tuakana/teina learning experiences and overall Whānau Kotahitanga.

All applicants must have:

  • Competency in Te Reo Māori.
  • Tohu Whakapakari or in progress through your Kete mahi.
  • Experience in Te Kohanga Reo.
  • Knowledge of Te Korowai and Te Whāriki.
  • Ability to put our Mokopuna first.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent Time management.
  • Excellent Leadership skills.
  • Innovative Te Whāriki delivery skills.

The work hours are 8.30am to 4.00pm Rāhina – Rāmere.
