We invite applications from senior Māori scholars for the position of Professor of Māori Education in the School of Education within the Faculty of Education. This is a rare opportunity to join a Māori education research and teaching unit and make a significant contribution toward the Māori community through the discipline of Education. Applicants should possess a knowledge of Te Ao Māori, and have an advanced university qualification (PhD), outstanding publication history and exemplary research experience. They should also possess a proven track record of postgraduate supervision to completion and be able to deliver university level courses. This should include leading intercultural and cross-disciplinary research and teaching teams within the university as well as with external stakeholders and community on a national and international scale.
