The Mental Health Foundation (MHF) is an established charitable trust with a vision of a society where all people flourish. Our purpose is to work with individuals, whānau, organisations and communities to improve and sustain their mental health so they can reach their full potential. We do this through a variety of ways including public awareness campaigns, health policy advocacy, education resources and media monitoring.

We are seeking a positive, adaptable and experienced Business Administrator to join our Finance and Administration team. This role provides professional administrative support to the leadership team, while ensuring that HR and Payroll processes/systems are running smoothly.

In this role you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including:

  • Diary management

  • Organising meetings

  • Collating reports

  • Board secretariat services

  • Handling employment agreements

  • Assisting with the fortnightly payroll process

  • -  Assisting with end of month financial processes

  • A proven track record in providing excellent administrative support

  • Able to build strong relationships across all levels of business

  • Exceptionally organised, can juggle multiple tasks with ease

  • Great attention to detail

Any prior experience of working within an NGO will be advantageous, as will having an

understanding of our organisation and the environment in which we operate.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 and will be commensurate to the successful candidate's skills, experience and suitability for the role.
