The Editing department is seeking a Video Editor / Camera Operator to join our team based in Te Whanganui-ā-Tara (Wellington).
Ideally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification, at least two years' broadcast experience in both craft areas and enjoy working in a team environment.
Predominantly supporting the daily news requirements, you will bring your editing speed and accuracy capabilities to meet the daily deadlines. You will be capable as a camera operator, being able to complete self directed inteviews and pickups. You will also provide support to general programmes as directed.
You will be a member of our small team in Te Whanganui-ā-Tara as well as part of the larger whānau at Whakaata Māori.
Understanding of tikanga and te reo Māori would be an advantage for this role. This full-time position involves shift work on a seven day roster and applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
