Tērā atakura, whakarewa mai, hetupu hou, he tohu whakahirahira, he tūranga, he tūranga! Keingāmanukura o te wānanga,piki mai, whakatau mai rā!

Tā te Ahupaepae o te Ihorangi Māori, he tino tautoko, he whakatinana hoki i ngā rautaki a Te Whare Wānanga kia tutuki ai ōna whāinga e hono nei ki te mahere taumata Māori me te mahere rautaki, te mahere tuku pūtea ki āna kaupapa anō hoki.

E rapu ana mātou i tētehi tangata ki te kōkiri me te whakahaere i ngā hōtaka paetahi e papai ake ai te ako a ngā tauira Māori ki te Whare Wānanga nei.

Me whai tohu tōtika te kaitono, me ngaio hoki ngā pūkenga ki te whakawhiti kōrero mā te reo Māori tonu me te mārama ki ngā tikanga Māori. Me whai wheako te kaitono ki tēnei momo tūranga. Me whai pūkenga hoki ki ngā mahi arataki, ki te whakahaere rorohiko, ki te whakahaere pūtea, otirā, he pūkenga whakawhitiwhiti kōrero, he pūkenga whakariterite i āna mahi.

We have an opportunity for a person to facilitate and coordinate undergraduate programmes that enhance the learning experience of Maori students.

As a member of the Māori Student Achievement team you will work collaboratively to achieve outcomes which enhance Māori student success including, the facilitation and coordination of the Te Āhurutanga Māori Student Leadership programme and the Te Kāhui Pīrere Transition programme and supporting the development of our Māori student groups.

You will have a tertiary qualification and be able to communicate in te reo with an excellent understanding of tikanga Māori. It is essential to have prior experience, especially in the field of leadership, strong computer literacy, financial management skills and excellent communication and organisation skills.

Salary will be in the range of $57,574 to $69,292 per year, depending on qualifications, skills and experience.

The position is fixed-term until December 2020.
