Mental Health Foundation

Closing Date : 22 Mar 2019

Unit/Team:           Fundraising
Location:              Auckland
Reports to:           Fundraising Manager

As a result of increased support, the Mental Health Foundation of NZ (MHF) is growing its fundraising team!

We are looking for someone to look after our database, enter donation information, update records and contact donors with a call, email or letter. Providing accurate banking reports for our finance team and campaign reports for our fundraising team will be crucial so you will need to have a passion for spreadsheets, numbers and great attention to detail.

With this role, we are trying to track all the ways workplaces and schools interact with our work, for example; who has attended our workshops, been involved in Mental Health Awareness Week, done fundrasiers for us, etc. To do this, you will be required to clean data and upload spreadsheets and information into the database. So, you will need to be at one with computers and technology, and be prepared to learn many, many excel formulas.

Then we want you to use your analytical skills to help us grow our fundraising even more! This role will also create and run reports to give us insights about our supporters and donors, help put together mailing lists for appeals and campaigns plus assist the team with database enquiries.

If you are a marketing graduate keen to cut your teeth and gain some experience plus skills in direct marketing/consumer insights, or someone who is a natural with computers, has an analytical brain and loves a great excel formula – this could be the role for you.

This role is based in our Mount Eden office and reports to the Mental Health Foundation’s Fundraising Manager, meaning it will sit within that team.

The starting salary will be approximately $47,000.00 per annum.

The Mental Health Foundation actively promotes the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.  We value the expertise of people with experience of mental illness - tangata whaiora - and we are an Equal Opportunity employer.
