We are looking for a Tutorial assistant who is able to work with our students and teaching staff on a part time basis.  You will be assisting with the practical workshops, maintenance of equipment and providing technical support in Mechanical courses.  The ideal candidate will preferably have experience as a Tutorial assistant and/or a background as a Mechanical Technician, or in providing technical support and have worked within the industry holding a relevant industry qualification.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) (Minimum or at least)
  • Current Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
  • Experience working with adult learners would be advantageous.
  • Focused on excellence both personally and in relation to teaching
  • Strong communication skills
