Principal Instructor – Catering & Laundry 

Our Offender Employment programmes are all about giving offenders the opportunity to gain skills and work experience to increase their chances of obtaining employment after release. 

We now have an opportunity available for a Principal Instructor to come and lead a team of dedicated Catering Instructors in this diverse and rewarding environment. 

You will be utilising your leadership skills as well as your background and experience in catering/cookery/food service.   We are looking for creative people to teach the craft and bring a new flavour to our site!

This position offers an exciting challenge to the right person capable of providing instruction and leadership to a team and using creative techniques to teach others in the craft of food preparation.

You will assist in the organisation and delegation of work and training, budget management and performance management as well as developing and maintaining customer relationships in order to enhance the development of both the business and Instructors.

To be successful you must have:

  • Industry experience in catering, cookery or food service and be trade qualified
  • Strong relationship and staff management experience
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to motivate and lead staff
  • Strong commercial relationship skills
  • A current and clean Full Drivers Licence
