Our ACC Talent Acquisition team are focused on attracting and securing the best talent in the market through innovative and alternative talent sourcing channels. Our primary goal is to ensure we have a diverse workforce aligned to our customer needs.
You will provide the team with targeted talent sourcing delivery - researching and sourcing talent using non-traditional approaches - the days of 'post and pray' are well and truly gone, and the ACC team look to future to secure talent through digital and mobile platforms. Key to this role will be your ability to find candidates, know how professionally engage with them and then present them to the Talent Acquisition team as a qualified short list. You will focus on proactive talent and look to the future by developing talent pipelines.
Key to this role will be your curiosity and ability to think outside the box with how to find great talent. You will need to know how to manage multiple roles / source to various capabilities / skills, across multiple platform - so a being a bit tech savvy within the web is required. Being a good listener and having the initiative to develop an approach 'to-find' talent through search strings would be ideal - but we are happy to teach you!
Some of interesting projects you would support are:
- developing a partnership with Universities and other academic environments (Graduates and Interns)
- proactively building and managing talent pipelines (external and internal) - capabilities/skills/niche jobs
- providing sourcing support for specialist and hard to fill requisitions or volume based roles
- supporting the development of sourcing strategies and channels with the Talent Acquisition Consultants (great opportunity to learn).
It would be nice if you had some recruitment experience with sourcing talent, but to be honest we can teach you. The following are nice to have but not essential: having great research skills; solid skills using internal search; understanding of social media / digital / mobile technology to find people; using boolean and other sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, online databases, networks/referrals etc.
