The Opportunity

In this role, you will work with Trust shareholders, Trustees, our Client Managers and the Share Registry team, to provide administration support for the large number of Māori Land Trusts and their stakeholders.  

Your duties include engaging with our clients via phone / email / in person, maintaining the shareholder database, processing succession orders from the Māori Land Court, ensuring accurate and timely records are kept, processing grant requests and shareholder payments as well as providing support for AGMs that includes sending out notices and preparing booklets. You will play an integral part in maintaining our strong client relationships which will fit with your natural outgoing personality and willingness to help.

About you

You will have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Tikanga Māori
  • Knowledge and understanding of Māori Land Trust administration
  • Research and database management experience 
  • An understanding of financial statements and/or experience working in a financial environment
  • Excellent skills across the MS office suite
  • Initiative, ability to manage competing priorities and strong attention to detail are essential attributes for success in this role.
