About the role:

Our client is looking for a Share Register Administrator who can maintain the share register and process applications for shareholder succession.  You will work closely with the Financial Administrator in paying distributions to the shareholders and assist them with other tasks as determined by the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update company and former debenture holders share registers
  • Ensure information is processed with accurate supporting documentation
  • Prepare and provide relevant share register information to the Auditor for Annual Reporting
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining effective relationships with shareholders
  • Ensure successions are processed on a regular basis
  • Provide the succession sub committee with accurate supporting information
  • Process the reinstatement of forfeited dividends and/or shares
  • Prepare unclaimed monies report for the Board’s consideration
  • Transact the forfeiture of unclaimed monies following the approval of the Board
  • Investigate missing shareholders on register who have unclaimed money
  • Attend AGM’s and assist with AGM matters

Key Requirements:

  • Proven and professional administration skills
  • Experience dealing confidently in confidential matters
  • A strong team player
  • Methodical with the ability to follow processes
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
