Hands on Senior HR practitioner; looking for the next career step to broaden you HR generalist skills within an innovative organisation?

Working across both strategic and operational levels, you will provide true generalist HR advice on remuneration, engagement OH & S, and ER, which will see you support development, communication and implementation; allowing division’s operational freedom to lead and develop their people.  As a broad ranging position, you will be additionally responsible for delivering specialist HR advice to managers and provide HR relations advice, functions and policies across the organisation.

Supporting organisational change through a cultural lens, you will utilise your knowledge of Te Reo me ona tikanga Māori to drive pragmatic and effective shifts in both mind set and employees knowledge.

As an experienced HR practitioner, you may have a career back ground in generalist, policy, organisational design or change management, and be looking to own, and grow as a generalist. Given is your ability to inspire and motivate, as are your skills to influence and bring a real common-sense approach to the role.

Skills and experience required for this position are to include:

  • Human Resources experience – preferably within a New Zealand setting.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in Employment Relations.
  • Knowledge of Te Reo me ona tikanga Māori.
  • In-depth knowledge of NZ legalisation and best practice HR processes.
  • Experience in organisational change management.
  • A demonstration of coaching and training skills.
  • Experience working in a kaupapa Māori or NGO environment.
  • Change management skills.
  • Employment relations expertise.
  • A full NZ drivers licence.

A tertiary qualification or significant practical experience within a similar level, HR position is required.
