John Whitmore I Environmental Health Advisor
The Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) is New Zealand's largest public health unit, working to promote and protect the health and wellbeing of all people in the Tāmaki Makaurau / the Auckland region.
Check out the ARPHS website for more information about the great work we do!
The ARPHS Environmental Health (EH) Team endeavours to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of all Aucklanders from environmental hazards and risks across the region. This includes the public health risk identification, assessment and management as well as advice and analysis of environmental health issues. The team are passionate and committed about making a difference to the health and wellbeing in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Two exciting opportunities have arisen to join the EH Team as Health Protection Officer/Technical Officers (HPO/TO). This is a role where you really get to protect and promote public health as you work to ensure public health risks are identified and managed and public health concerns are investigated and enforce public health legislation.
