We have an opportunity for an experienced and diligent Administrator for 20 hours per week, to join our Ngāi Tahu Seafood Team based in modern offices at our processing plant in Bluff. This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of professionalism to provide support to the team.

The objective of this position is to provide office administration, inventory control, systems and general compliance management support in order to ensure the effective operation of the Bluff Plant. This position provides core administrative, secretarial and internal support services to the Management team, together with key areas of operational support office-wide in order to manage and co-ordinate their day-to-day operations and key internal and business activity.

Reporting to the Quota and Compliance Manager, some of the duties you will be responsible for include:

  • Maintaining accurate source documentation and records of seafood species product transactions including landing, processing, transfer, storage and sales activity.
  • Processing sales dockets, invoices and E-certs for all exports and claims for outstanding invoices.
  • Coordinating and accurately compiling the plant's waged staff payroll source data timesheets
  • General office administration - coordinating travel, meetings and catering, ordering stationery, mail and courier distribution. If you are looking for a position that offers variety, responsibility and a proud safety motivated team culture then this is it!
