The Kaiwhakaako – Trainer Te Reo is an exciting position that reports to the Kaitohu a Rohe for the day-to-day service delivery of kaupapa, training and development to Kohanga Reo.
This role will be part of a team, to deliver a broad suite of training and professional development programmes, such as Te Ara Tuatahi, Te Ara Tuarua, Te Tohu Tino Rangatiranga Whakapakari, Tākaimatua, Te Korowai and Te Whāriki a Te Kōhanga; as determined to meet the needs of Kōhanga Reo. The aim is to build, support and sustain a capable and well-informed workforce.
It is expected the Kaiwhakaako – Trainer Te Reo will provide direct support to akonga enrolled in Te Ara Tuatahi, Te Ara Tuarua, Te Tohu Tino Rangatiratanga Whakapakari, Te Korowai and Te Whariki a Te Kohanga Reo. The Trainer – Te Reo will feed into the planning and management support to the team and the Kaitohu a-rohe to ensure management and distribution of resources as required; this includes the broader training team to support the quality and service delivery of training needs and professional development.
The minimum pre-requisite qualification for this position is Te Tohu Tino Rangatira Whakapakai
