In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services are delivered by an established, multi-disciplinary team based at the Wairau Hospital, Blenheim. This team delivers a comprehensive clinical resource to those affected by acute or enduring severe mental illness.
Applications are invited from Registered Psychiatric or Comprehensive Nurses, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists. You will require a minimum of one year's post graduate experience, within the mental health sector, and possess the personal and professional attributes required to undertake this challenging role.
In addition to case load responsibilities, duties include assessment and crisis management of individuals presenting with mental health problems.
This is a permanent, full-time, position working 80 hours a fortnight. Normal hours of work will be between 8.00AM and 4.30PM, Monday to Friday.
Previous Duly Authorised Officer (DAO) experience is preferred.
