The Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor Māori is seeking to appoint a vibrant team member to provide leadership in managing the operational and administrative aspects of our new Marae on the Wellington campus. The role will oversee the day to day running and operations of the marae and will require someone with a sound knowledge and understanding of te reo me ōna tikanga. The marae is situated in the heart of the Wellington campus and is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to work collaboratively with teams across the University to realise the potential of the new marae. Applicants will need a sound understanding of the functions and kaupapa of a marae and in particular a marae within the tertiary education setting. This role will work closely with the Senior Advisor Māori participating in the development and maintenance of policy and procedures and report to the Principal Advisor Māori within the Office of the AVC Māori.
