The purpose of your role

As Lecturer of Nursing on the Bachelor of Nursing programme your commitment to excellence in learning and teaching is critical to our success. The position sits in Unitec's Health and Community network. A dynamic and varied pathway encompassing health, community and veterinary covering a variety of programmes and levels including our postgraduate health science qualifications.

You will join a team of experienced nurse educators committed to excellence in nursing education and student success who can support our goal to be innovative and responsive to the exciting challenges of the tertiary education and health care environments.

Your experience

You'll join Unitec with a qualification at Masters level and a registration with the Nursing Council of NZ as a Registered Nurse and a current practicing certificate. Your active and growing research portfolio along with your knowledge & understanding of Te Reo and Tikanga puts you ahead of the pack. Key to your success in the role is having passion and experience in working and supporting Maori students and knowledge of applying Māori health models
