Te Hauora Rūnanga o Wairarapa is a kaupapa Māori and whānau centred provider based in Masterton.  We are looking for passionate and committed kaimahi/workers for the following vacancies:

Manu Mātau Whānau Practitioner

Part time (0.4 fte), Fixed term
Based at 15 Victoria street, Masterton 

The Manu Mātau Whānau Practitioner will deliver a Whānau centred life skills programme to empower and support whānau to achieve their aspirations and make positive and sustainable lifestyle changes.

This is a part time, fixed term position, for someone who has experience and can do the above with whānau.

Manu Mātau Ka Rewa Programme Facilitator

Full time, Fixed term
Based at 15 Victoria street, Masterton

We are looking for a passionate, committed kaimahi/worker to join our Ka Rewa Team and Kura Ka Rewa Building Resilience in the Maori Learner” programme.   An exciting opportunity to extend this programme wider in the Wairarapa and beyond! 

If you have the following qualities, skills and experience then this role could be yours:

  • Have excellent teaching, facilitation, moderation, cultural, community networking skills / knowledge and experience
  • Be able to engage effectively with schools, Iwi, hapū and whānau
  • Have sound written and oral fluency of Te Reo Māori me ona tikanga
