Tātau Tātau o Te Wairoa represent Iwi and hapū of Te Rohe o Te Wairoa and are in the next phase of the Treaty Settlement journey. This phase is specifically focussed on establishing the most appropriate asset allocation and governance model as determined by TToTWT’s members.
As TToTWT’s Transition/Project Manager you will design and implement systems, processes and controls aligned to the work programme, engagement plan and their remaining settlement matters. You will develop a deep and trusting relationship with the Chair, Trustees and other key stakeholder including whanau, hapū, Iwi, the Crown and financial and legal advisors.
You will be a highly skilled project manager with experience working with Treaty issues and/or complex legal matters. You will have proven financial management and reporting skills including developing and managing budgets. You will be commercially astute and have proven understanding of partnership models. Your reputation as a superb written and oral communicator will be enhanced by your commitment to, empathy for, and understanding of, te ao Māori me ona tikanga – spoken and written te reo Māori would be an advantage. You will be highly results-focussed with a proven track record of helping a wide range of people get to a shared goal. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with the right of renewal for a further 12 months by mutual agreement.
