Permanent – Part-Time - 30 hours per week

Want to make a difference in somebody's life?
Love a challenge?
Like to lead a team of committed people?

We are seeking a team leader to lead a close knit team that provides support to a happy, enthusiastic woman that wants to make the most of her life and enjoy it to the fullest.

This is an opportunity to become a part of someone's life and your involvement and leadership will undoubtedly have a significant impact on her wellbeing.

This role is about creating a collaborative environment, where people feel supported. This woman loves her own home, spending time enjoying her local community and building trusting relationships with the people in her life.

We are seeking a committed, caring and compassionate person to fill this role. You need to have energy, enthusiasm and a positive approach to your work. While you may have never managed a team before, you need to have good organisational skills, clear communication and the ability to coach and guide people in their work. Every day is different in this service, so you need to be able to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure. Not every day is easy, so your skills in building team morale, keeping people motivated and providing constructive feedback will be key. Working as a member of the team, you will also help her to explore her community, prepare meals, complete household chores and support her with her personal care needs.

This is a part-time permanent position for at least 30 hours a week but is definitely not a 9 to 5 job. It will include evening shifts, sleepovers and weekend work. We are preferably looking for someone who has the flexibility to support the team when they need it and who lives nearby (on the North Shore), but don’t be put off - if you tick all the other boxes please do apply. A full driver’s license and a car is essential. You must have a clear Ministry of Justice check.

No reira, mehemea ko koe tenei, nau mai, haere mai - if this sounds like the role for you, please apply online at
